One of the most handy, time-saving things you can do on the iPhone is to setup keyboard shortcuts for commonly typed phrases. The phrases can be paragraphs long and you can activate them in email or any native text based app by simply typing the shortcut phrase. Shortcuts can be used for:
- alternate email signatures
- blanket responses to inquiries you get like, “Thank you for reaching out to Ethervision, the best iOS app development company around…”
- long strings of emoji symbols
- your address
- directions to your house from a certain location
